Thursday Food For Thought: Earthquake in Acheh, Indonesia

"We felt tremors for almost 1 min!" was the first thing I read when I logged on to Twitter this evening. I wasn't aware of the unfortunate event that happened today. Earthquake of 8.6 magnitude hit Acheh, the western coast of Sumatra, Indonesia. It's been almost 8 years since the biggest earthquake and  tsunami that hit South East Asia and with the magnitude as high as 8.6, those in Kedah, Penang, Perak and some parts of Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia felt it too.

We've heard of earthquakes, landslides, tsunami and all the natural disasters happening one after another and as human being, we know that the things that we do everyday, the way we live actually contribute to all these. Although small, we can actually protect Earth and stop contributing to the things that 'invites' natural disasters.

Food for thought: We know that Earth Hour is celebrated annually in order to let Earth "breath". One hour in 365 days is never ENOUGH to save Earth. What can we do in order to save Earth?
