Tokyo, Japan: Day 2 - Tokyo Disney SEA! (PART 1)

Warning: This post will be flooded with pictures. (And super late post. WTV)

You know, when we were kids (living in a country where, there was no amusement parks except those coin-operated merry-go-round in shopping malls), we've always dream of going to Disneyland. Whenever we watched "Kelab Disney Malaysia" (Malaysia Disney Club), we drool when we saw the infamous Disney Castle on TV. The real life Mickey Mouse. The roller-coaster!
With an opportunity like going to Tokyo, there was no way on Earth will I miss visiting Disneyland! (Well, I did not visit Disneyland. I went to DisneySea instead, because it sounds much cooler than Disneyland. lol)

Tokyo Disney Sea was opened in 2001 and they have this nautical exploration theme to it. The theme park consisted of seven nautically themed ports. I get to ride awesome train to DisneySea. (There's a Mickey Mouse window in the train!)

Love the Mickey Mouse Train

When you enter Disney Sea, you will be walking through the Mediterranean Harbor.

The Mediterranean Harbor

Most of the buildings here are made of shops and restaurants that sells Disney goods.

DisneySea Entrance

Walk a little further and you will come to the American Waterfront (where the most terrifying "Tower of Terror" resides). I hate that tower. I cried to make my way out of entering the tower.

On the Background: The Tower of Terror

However, I was really looking forward to the Toy Story Mania! (Felt like I was 10 again). The line was very very very long (Note: It was Golden Week and it was a holiday) Through pain and coldness, I lined up alone (thinking it was the Tower of Terror line pfft) and it paid off! It wasn't the Tower of Terror queue! Cold, painful yet awesome!

Toy Story!

Back to what was inside the Toy Story Mania! We had to wear 3D Glasses and boarded a spinning vehicle that runs through a carnival-like virtual course.

"What's cooler than being cool? - Ice COLD" - Hey Ya!

I made top scorer of the day! That was my first ride! It was drizzling and the temperature was 10°C. It was freezing!

We took the DisneySea Electric Railway and stopped at Port Discovery. My favourite ride, the StormRider was here! It's a simulator ride where the story goes like we are all going in a weather storm in a airplane called the Stormrider to difuse the storm. (yeah it's a 4D? 5D? 6D? ride. But it was damnnnnnn awesome!) We also had a romantic water ride in Aquatopia :D

Nervous: Will be riding Stormrider soon!

After the fun exiciting ride in Stormrider and the lovey dovey ride in Aquatopia, we made our way to the Lost River Delta. On the way, we met Goofy!

Goofing with Goofy!
The Lost River of Delta, you can actually see Indiana Jones' crashed plane in the river.

"I see Mr. Jones!"

We waited a while to queue for rides in Lost River Delta, but since we have the Free-Pass (no queuing required!) we went to other parks first! After having superb Mickey and Minnie Ice Pops while walking, we found ourselves at Arabian Coast.

Thought I try to make it look like Doraemon

And here I found, Rajah! (Princess Jasmine's pet tiger)

Rajah, guarding the Arabian Coast
And I made friends with Aladdin...
We didn't manage to exchange our Tweet Handle. lol.
Ride the Flying Carpet...
The Flying Carpet

Walk around the street of "Baghdad" to find Sinbad

The Street of Baghdad

Will continue this journey in Part 2!
